Discussion Thread
Ok, so I’ve been running a small (but mighty) social media agency for a couple of years now – think: me, a bunch of Canva templates, and a LOT of late nights trying to keep up with trends. ? Recently, I started hearing about tools like Streampost (or SP for short), and how they're supposed to make managing client accounts "so much easier."
I’ll admit, I was skeptical – I kinda thought, "AI can’t possibly 'get' the same creative vibes I do when crafting posts, right?" But a friend convinced me to try it out during my free trial phase ('cause why not?), and... I’m shocked.
First off, SP doesn’t just schedule posts (which, let’s be real, I was already doing with other tools). It's the INSIGHTS that are blowing my mind. Like, it analyzes engagement patterns??? And straight-up suggests the best posting times, hashtags, and even *types of content* based on past performance. I have a “pet grooming” client, and SP was like, "hey, videos about seasonal care tips spike in attention in September." ? Like what??? How does it KNOW that??
But here’s my question to the seasoned SP/AI tools folks on here: Do you completely rely on these insights, or do you still find yourself needing to tweak things manually? Like, does SP ever seem ‘too clinical’? For example, I’ve found that while its hashtag suggestions are super on-point for big reach, sometimes I’ll sub in more niche tags for certain brands just to keep it authentic to the audience.
Also – scheduling content across diff. platforms (Instagram, FB, LinkedIn, Twitter, you name it) is literally saving me HOURS weekly. Don’t get me wrong, I still double and triple-check everything it suggests before letting it go live (control freak?? maybe ?), but it’s crazy how much time it’s freed up to just focus on strategy and client relationships. Big win for my sanity. ?
TL;DR: SP is actually way smarter than I gave it credit for, and I’m leaning on it more than I thought I would tbh. Curious how other ppl here are using it for their SM management? Or anyone feel like AI sometimes *over-recommends* strategies?? Let’s swap thoughts. ?
