Discussion Thread
Hey everyone,
I just had to share this because I’ve been absolutely *obsessed* with how AI is changing the social media game lately. I started using StreamPost (aka SP for short) a few weeks ago to help manage the Instagram and Twitter (err, X?) accounts for our little coffee shop, and oh man, it’s been next-level helpful.
First off, the insights it gives me are insane. Like, I used to spend HOURS going through analytics manually, trying to figure out which post timings worked best or what content people liked most. But Streampost just spits it all out for you and even suggests the best times to post?? I didn’t even realize how much potential engagement we were missing.
For example, it pointed out that our videos of latte art were killing it with engagement, but for some reason our posts with pictures of pastries were falling flat. It suggested pairing those pastry shots with carousel posts (which I didn’t even think to try) and, no joke, our engagement on those has doubled since I started following its tips. ?
Also, the AI-generated captions... I was skeptical at first because, y’know, you don’t want to come across as some corporate bot, but they're shockingly good. I do tweak them a bit to add our personality (we’re all about chill vibes and jokes), but I’d say 80% of the heavy lifting was already done for me. Such a time saver.
The only small downside is that I kinda feel like I’m falling into the ‘AI rabbit hole.’ Like, it’s so good that I worry I’m relying on it a bit too much. Anybody else feel this way? Are there any best practices for finding the balance?
Anyway, I’d love to hear how others are using SP. Have you noticed any sneaky tricks it’s picked up on for specific platforms? Or does anyone have any tips for getting even more out of it? Let’s compare notes!
Cheers,
SociallyAwkwardLatte ☕
