Thread Content

Hey everyone, just wanted to share some thoughts and see what others think about this.

So, I started using StreamPost (or SP as I lazily call it sometimes ?) a few months ago to handle my social media accounts for my small business. I run a little online craft shop, nothing huge, but my time is always stretched thin between creating products, managing orders, and trying to keep up with marketing.

At first, I honestly didn’t think an AI tool could do something as personal and creative as writing social media posts for MY business. I mean, my brand vibe is super specific—handmade, personal, and friendly. It felt like something a robot might mess up. But now? I’m eating my words.

The insights SP provides are crazy! Like, I thought I knew when my followers were most active or what type of posts they liked, but I was waaay off. The analytics dashboard not only tells me when to post but also what TYPE of content has historically performed best. For example, SP suggested I lean more into behind-the-scenes videos of me creating products because they consistently get more shares than finished product pics. And guess what? It was spot-on, my engagement went up immediately. ?

Another thing I absolutely love is the content generator. Writing captions used to take forever, but now I just plug in some basic info—like the vibe I want to hit or a few keywords—and it spits out five or six different options for me to tweak. Sometimes I don’t even tweak them because they’re just THAT good. Like, it somehow knows my "voice" after analyzing the style of my older posts. (Kind of spooky, but also amazing??)

The scheduling feature is a lifesaver too. For instance, I can plan a week of posts in one sitting and then not have to think about it again. It’s given me soooo much time back that I’d usually spend stressing about what to post last minute. The only downside? It almost feels like I’m cheating sometimes lol. Am I overthinking that part?

Curious if any of y’all are having similar experiences? Are you fully trusting the AI to do its thing, or are you still double-checking and tweaking every little detail before it goes out? Also, for anyone who’s NOT using Streampost (or similar tools), why not??

P.S. I’ve only been using the mid-tier plan, so if anyone’s upgraded to the full Premium plan, is it worth the jump? I’m tempted by the extra features it teases, but it feels like such a leap for my little business budget.

Would love to hear your takes!
