Discussion Thread
Hey all, so I've been exploring different tools for managing social media, and I recently stumbled across Streampost (or SP as some ppl call it in the forums). I was super impressed by how it claims to use AI to optimize not just scheduling but also understanding audience engagement patterns. I mean, how cool is that? ?
Here's the thing, tho: I’ve tried other AI-based tools before (like Buffer’s analytics or Later's hashtag suggestions), but SP feels kinda different. They're talking about stuff like predictive content success rates and suggesting posts optimized for when MY followers specifically are online... Is that legit? It's hard to tell what's hype vs. what's legit AI nowadays, y'know?
ALSO—quick question for anyone who's used it—how accurate are the analytics? Like, it says it can predict peak engagement hours but… is it actually better than, say, just publishing at the "usual best times" we always hear about (like, Tuesdays around 11-1PM). Let me know if you've seen meaningful insights from using it!
Btw super curious too about its "content gap identification" thing? It was suggesting I make more carousel posts about productivity tips (I'm in wellness/fitness niche, btw), which sounds nice but I'm cautious about trusting a bot to tell me what my audience wants. Is the AI ACTUALLY analyzing trends or is it just a dressed-up keyword generator? If you’ve got success stories (or even horror stories lol), I wanna hear em!
Anyway, sorry for the ramble! Just tryna gauge if SP could be worth investing into before signing up for anything long-term. Thanks in advance! ?
